YT is a lot of work, and trying to keep it interesting, if using it for your income. Editing vids can take hours, and good camera gear isn't cheap. Doyle puts a lot of time & effort into his vids, and get paid quite well for it. Not to mention, if doing travel vids, simply the cost of, petrol & hotels. YT adjusted how they pay out a couple years ago, and YT'ers took a hit on income.
