May 13, 201312 yr Do you realise that buying from Thailand will mean you'll be paying high Thai taxes as well as high Malaysian taxes? I'm struggling to think of a model on sale here that's not already on sale in MY - perhaps you want a > 2.5L pickup? Seems an awfully expensive way to own one..

You are probably best discussing this with some Malaysians in the know so you can get an idea of what sort of problems, limits, and tea money might be involved. The one possible caveat is that you cannot take a Thai car across a border unless it's fully paid for - so that rules out financing.
