News_Editor Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 <p>KABUL, AFGHANISTAN (BNO NEWS) -- At least ten people were killed after a roadside bomb attack in southern Afghanistan, local authorities said Monday. </p> <p>The attack took place in Afghanistan's southern province of Kandahar at around 12 p.m. local time when a civilian vehicle was struck by an explosive device. </p> <p>Kandahar's security chief, General Abdul Razaq, spoke with Khaama Press, confirming the deaths of ten civilians. Among the fatal victims were seven women. In addition twelve others were reported injured, all of them women and children. </p> <p>No group or terrorist organization claimed responsibility, but Razaq blamed the Taliban, saying they had been targeting security forces with the mine. </p> <p> (Copyright 2013 by BNO News B.V.
