Pattaya Police arrest suspected drug dealer with prison connections

PATTAYA:--Pattaya Police have arrested a 36 year old drug dealing suspect who was recently released from prison after serving a 9 year sentence for drug dealing.

Police Colonel Chachawan, the acting Pattaya Police Chief, held a press conference in front of Pattaya Police Station on Tuesday afternoon to announce the arrest of Khun Chayaporn. He had been released from Chonburi Central Prison less than one year ago where he served the 9 year sentence. It is thought that upon his release he went to work for an inmate who controls a drug dealing network in the Pattaya and Banglamung areas.

The suspect was caught following the arrest of drug users who named the suspect as their supplier.
