90 Day Non -0- Expiring.. Now What

Featured Replies

Hello...

I received a Non o visa that expires June 19th. End of June, I am going back to the USA for about 2 months then back to thailand.. I want to get a retirement Visa. I can stop in LA and work with the Consulate there or can work with CM immigration.

What would be the best way for me to accomplish my needs.. 1. Stay in Thailand until end of June.. 2. Then Obtain my Retirement visa...

Thank you for your ideas.

Cheers.

That is entirely up to you. What ever is more convinient for you to do, apply early at immigration or apply for a new visa in the US.

If you apply early at immigraiton, don't forget to get a re-entry permit.

If I were in your situation, I would apply for an extension of stay for retirement in CM rather than jumping through the many hoops LA consulate demands. It will be much faster and less costly. I am assuming you understand that you must have a the required funds for a retirement extension of stay. That is 800K Thai Baht seasoned for two months OR 65,000 income letter from the US consulate (or a combination of the two.)
