Democrazy In Thailand

While Taksin did provide some positive change for people on lower incomes, he and his cronies made themselves even richer by using government policies and mechanisms for personal gains. A whole new level of corruption.

I do appreciate the skills of the man in manipulating and taking over the media, and creating an image of himself as a self-made statesman of the people... He is without a shadow of a doubt smarter (or perhaps I should say 'more cunning') than myself. But his morals are so far down the drain it would take an exceptionally agile rat to locate them.

Will/would Thailand be better off without him in power? I am not sure.
