The CCP in 75 years killed off all Chinese culture, traditions and manners. Spitting constantly and men showing off their naked pork bellies is 'normal' in mainland China, and doesn't raise even one eyebrow. I noticed that the mainland Chinese also behave exactly like this anywhere abroad... Perhaps they feel too welcome in Thailand with red carpets being rolled out for them as preferred tourists... -

why don;t these people understand? it's easy; get the appropriate visa! i.e. don;t try to use tourist visas/visa exempt if you intend staying in thailand long term, you're not a tourist, one more time, get the appropriate visa and you won;t have any issues. evidence, i've been in and around thailand 25 odd years, never had an issue with an IO, male or female, because, guess what? i've always had the appropriate visa. it' not rocket science. -

Recommendations for a quiet beach at Phuket
How do you figure that, as if taken from Nai Yang beach, how would I get the angle and hill in the background. Nai Yang is right at the airport, and on the other side of the hill. So not taken from south. I couldn't even take that shot with my camera on Nai Yang beach, as it wouldn't fit in the frame. Or be a side shot, as I'd be looing up. That's a first, as never had to explain a photo before, and told I took from someplace else. -

Immigration Thailand Digital Arrival Card. TDAC
The reports so far suggest that if you have done it they can already see it on their system, based on your passport. So the need to present anything is not indicated, although it would be a good idea to have it just in case. Obviously, you need to be connected to WiFi or mobile data, to complete the TDAC so if you download it to your phone, rather than just read it when it arrives it'll still be readable when you're not connected. (Same as any documents you have stored on your phone, like passport copies, travel insurance etc.) But as is being said, once you've completed the TDAC it'll be on the system anyway. As an aside, I never quite understood why the SETV that one paid for wasn't automatically on the system, but one was specifically told to print that. Actually, there is an official answer to the question on the FAQ page - looks like this
