chooka
I agree ATTENTO, there is always a victim and the tellers are hurt especially in an armed robbery such as this one.
asupeartea
Many more Brits so much more likely to be one of them. Why the humongous chip on your shoulder? If it is not the German drug trafficker then we may all have a good laugh when it turns out to be an Australian or a North American. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile appHe's always like that. Hit "ignore" or "troll block enabled" Thanks. How do I do that? Semi English would have been if one of those numbskulls wrote it. Hap gun! Hap nife! You want big pompem? Up to me! Mon-eey now!

pacovl46
The missing German has turned up then. My thoughts also. We may be wrong but there is a least one farang armed robber on the loose in desparate need of cash. If it is the German guy and only if he won't have to worry about being sent to Germany if he is caught. The german guy is only 25 tho. What I'd like to know is why the guy even escaped in Thailand. Apparently he had served his time in Australia and would've been a free man upon landing in Germany.
pacovl46
The missing German has turned up then. He did indeed: A GERMAN man who escaped from his Australian minders while transiting at a Bangkok airport has turned himself in after two weeks on the run. Carlo Konstantin Kohl managed to elude two Australian security escorts and fled from Suvarnabhumi Airport after their flight to Germany was delayed on May 16. He was being extradited from Australia after having served a jail term. Immigration police detective Col. Chartchai Eimsaeng said Kohl, 25, showed up at the German Embassy in Bangkok on Thursday. Col. Charchai said Kohl told police he ran out of money and wanted to go home. The escape has caused consternation in Thailand over airport security and in Australia over the handling of criminals. Kohl was convicted of drug trafficking, jewellery theft and other charges in Australia.
choff56
The poorly written note could have ended up like this. Is woody in the country at the moment? Yes, there are reports that he has been sported all over the country.

HarryMilton
Surely their is cctv, why don't the BIB release pictures of the suspect for the press to print on the Thursday?. In all fairness other news sources may have pictures but with pictures it's highly likely they will have Western friends, or better still for the BIB Western enemies. There is CCTV footage which has been shown on TV but it's not too clear. The suspect has a cap on and kept his head down but it could be enough for someone who knows or thinks he / she knows him. No one was hurt, the moneys insured, so even if I did know who it was........................... I wouldn't tell.................. would you ? So armed robbery is ok then?
HarryMilton
The excellent newspaper the Bangkok Post is reporting that a 62 year old American English teacher has been arrested for the robbery. A bloody English teacher! So happy to know that he won't be inflicting his retarded version of English on anymore pupils for the foreseeable future.
