KhunBENQ
Statistically nothing unusual. There are two peaks in the monthly amount of rainfall: May and Oct. http://www.tmd.go.th/en/province_stat.php?StationNumber=48461 And the big rain is in Sep and Oct as in most places. I remember to have been in Pattaya in Sep 2011 during the record rainfalls/flooding. Terrible experience. Edited June 6, 2013 by KhunBENQ

I did not click, but from experience yes oct is the hardest hit but may, no way, that has got to be wrong??? I am talking bangkok and pattaya, it does not fit, but i could be wrong. KhunBENQ
All the charts show a significant increase or single spike for May. In my Isan region I would state: rainy season has started LATE this year. Just a couple of days now we have significant rain there. (currently I am on visit in Pattaya btw,).

Were finally at normal of rain fall for the first time in three years. Let it rain let it rain let it rain.
