Theft from North Pattaya Café caught-on-tape

PATTAYA:--A man, thought to be in his thirties, was caught on CCTV at a North Pattaya Café on Thursday, walking into the venue and casually taking 13,000 Baht’s worth of audio equipment from inside.

The theft occurred at the Loong Café on the North Pattaya Road on Thursday Afternoon where cameras caught the man walking up to the venue and without fear of being caught, walking inside. He went straight for the sound-stage and took a guitar amplifier and another piece of equipment before calmly walking out of the venue.

as a lad i worked a Saturday job in an electrical retailer

color TV was a new thing then and costly

one Saturday in the middle of a busy morning

a white van pulled up with the company logos

2 guys in white overall coats got out

they had company logos on the pockets

one of them had clipboard

they took 4 color TV's off display

no-one bothered until much much later

they visited 4 other stores in the chain that day and got 20 TV's altogether

brazen or what?
