Lamb Donor Kebab Chiang Mai

Went to Mr sk Sausage mans event yesterday as i heard they are the only restaurant doing Lamb donor kebabs in all chiang mai. It was fantastic and it's well worth a try.​ The lamb donor in only available every second Saturday ?? Not sure why as it is wonderful.

It's in Sansai fairly close to Meechoke Plaza. I go there often but never knew they offered that. But I don't think I would like lamb. Is chicken available?

If you search facebook you can find a detailed map how to get there. Nice people, good food.

I am big fan for the Donor but must admit I would prefer the UK style of 'Filling in an enclosed Pitta'.

Mind you about twice a week I manage to devour A Lamb Tikka Kebab along with a plate of Big Chips, best Chips in Cm.

Not too Hot but Very Spicy and Tasty.

In Australia, where we have a large Greek community and also Turkish, I soon learned to check which nationality shop I was entering, before ordering.

The Greeks are not happy when you ask for Donor kebab, and nor are the folk in the Turkish shop across the road; they get upset if I ask for Souvlaki!

Ditto ++ for coffee too.

Gave the döner kebab a try yesterday and really liked it.

Not exactly the same style I was used from Berlin (the saying is the döner was invented there) - with yoghurt-garlic sauce inside a quarter of pide bread - but delicious, too. Especially worth to mention: The fine lamb taste, not strong mutton.

The large portion for 169 THB is really large, for Average Joe the "small" portion should be enough.

No doubt - it was worth the 40 km pedaling.

Rebo the price you quoted was wrong sir. large donor 149 baht and small donor 129 baht + His special Burmese beef of pork curry sets 99baht for the pork and 129 for beef and the wife loved the pork curry.It gets very busy at lunch so best to get their 11am or after 1pm. The service ladys speak English and good service.I will be going their tomorrow for his 99 baht breakfast.

Just to point out the breakfasts aren't all that special, not bad but same as everywhere else.

But the Indian curries are really good, not found anywhere to match them.

Cornish pasties are really good too.

You're right, Sir, sorry for my mistake, I wrote the price incl. my drink. I'll definitely be there again on July 6th (Do your math, PETDCAT ... ).

Yesterday was kebab day 22 june -29th is 1 week and 29th june-6th july is 2 weeks by my calender. 6th July is the next Donor kebab day. Maybe more info here http://on.fb.me/12WBDqJ

Great place and great food at reasonable prices .The Lamb kebab did not taste like lamb to me though .At B129 and B149 i was not really expecting it to be real lamb .
