Becker
I'm planning to go to Myanmar sometime in July and would like to know if anyone has any experience with a visa service that picks up your passport and application (in Pattaya) and returns your passport when the visa has been issued? If that's not possible any advice from people who have applied at the embassy themselves would be most welcome. Thanks!
WaywardWind
Haven't been there yet, but there was an informative thread about visa on arrival here last year: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/380828-myanmar-visa-info/

This is not a Visa On Arrival - this terminology has confused a lot of folks heading over to Myanmar who believe that it is possible to get on a flight and apply for a Visa on arrival. You must either get a visa in advance from the embassy, or use a service like the one above posted by joepattaya1961 to pre-arrange one for you.
