Great Noodles

Featured Replies

Hi Peoples,

I just wanted to let everyone know about this place.

Went out for lunch yesterday and was taken by a few thai employees to this little noodle joint at lunch time.

The place was behind the kodak shop next to the BTS station in ploenchit, called pleonchit noodle or something, quite small looking place. Actually theres was a japanese place next door.

The places services noodles at 35 B which tasted superb, i had about 3 bowls but the best thing about this place compared to the others ive seen is that this place is soo clean inside. Also the girl spoke fluent english which made ordering a little easier.

I think its only open for lunch, doesnt open in the evening as i tried to go there at night for some food aswell :o

Anyways im looking for more places like these let me know if you poeples know any.........

Thanks

Don

Soi 32/1 Pahon Yothin Rd, look for a small plump lady on the corner with loads of clients eating.

a bit outta the way but worth looking for. :o

Just round the corner (well, and over the road) on Sukkumvit Soi 1, literally just before the entrance to Bumrungrad hospital on the right hand side is a great noodle soup place, probably the best I've found in Bangkok.

There’s a place with a boat in the entrance near the Siam square skytrain station that I love. They have other restaurants at the carpark near Hard Rock Café and a new outlet in MBK.

The food is great and cheap with the tiny restaurant always packed with students. The tables and chairs are basic and the place always crowded.

I’ve never seen others farangs in there during my visits but thoroughly recommend the place.
