Crazy design prescription contact lenses in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Hi.

Has anyone seen where I can get those crazy design contact lenses in Bangkok? The ones you see in movies that zombies and vampires wear? But I need to get prescription. I'm blind as a bat!

Novelty or theatrical lenses are usually non-prescription, but a limited number of prescription designs are available to order online.

You might ask at high-end opticians at the better malls, but personally I'd be very wary of such products in Thailand, I assume you value your eyes. . .

They are sold at any mall.

They are called CRAZY LENSES or ANIMATION LENSES in Thailand also.

Best and most famous brands (authentic) in Thailand are DUEBA, VASSEN, GEO.

Geo lenses have an authentification sticker to type in their Korean website to be sure that the products are genuine.

Don't buy Chinese lenses, too many are bad and dangerous for your eyes.

Most of the reliable circle lenses brands in Thailand and in the world come from Korea and they also make contact lenses for the famous EU or US brands, so it seems that these companies are trustable.

He's talking about PRESCRIPTION lenses, not nearly as common anywhere in the world much less Thailand.

Personally I don't care how "trustworthy" a company may appear, even under the supervision of a "trusted" medical practitioner, I wouldn't (nor allow a loved one to) put anything in direct contact with their eyes that was purely cosmetic, for fun.

Doing so for necessary medical reasons is risky enough, they're your EYES ferchristsake!
