Two underage girls and Karaoke Bar owner arrested by Police in Jomtien

PATTAYA:-- Officers from the Police Region 2 Child and Women Protection Unit conducted an undercover operation at a Karaoke Bar in Jomtien early on Wednesday Morning following reports the bar was employing girls under the age of 18 who were also available for sexual services.

An undercover officer, armed with 3,000 Baht in marked bank notes, entered the Karaoke Bar just after 3am and spoke with the owner, Khun Sanyar aged 39. He accepted the 3,000 Baht in exchange for a female employee aged under 18 who agreed to accompany the officer. The owner kept 500 Baht and the girl was given 2,500 Baht.
