June 17, 201312 yr Just 2day renewed both motorbike and car driver license. Second time for a 5 year extension, so what do you know? Some surprises though. Had to do color test. Had to do a 'training session' by computer. Lasted one hour. No further questions asked. No need for bringing your own pics. They have their computer photograph and immediate printing on the license system. Medical cert. needed. Certificate of residence required or work permit. Dunno about yellow book. More money than befor. Motorbike 305 Baht and car 505 Baht. Duh? And of course the old licenses. So, at least for Chiang Mai, Thaivisa info needs some updating.
