In fact I've travelled all over Thailand with yourself theblether.....with never anything but smiles and laughter at every turn.

We bumped into a few members as well on our travels....and the kindness and friendship shown by them was incredible.

Thanks to all of them....you know who you are. :)

I've been a member for years and only met a 3 members - well that I know of - must have met hundreds that don't know who I am as I want to be anonymous. Met the owner who is a nice guy, although he didn't know I was 'Neeranam' at the time.

Known Felix Lynn, the radio guy for many years.

I've met two and didn't even know it. In each case this has been in Australia and was only related to me later by a third party (other members) who know them. So, to those two who knew who I was but I didn't know you, my apologies, but I still don't know which face you were!

I also know another member from a previous life in Thailand (many years before ThaiVisa even existed) and only clicked to it due to something he wrote in a post.

I'd like to meet more people who are into fishing and live in Chiang Mai.

I said I'd met one member, which is true. However, I also know a lot of pensioner types around here, but we have nothing in common and I would bet they all visit TV. No offense to pensioners or older, grumpier people of course.

This may sounds peculiar but on my last trip, I travelled around Thailand to meet up with several TV posters. Next time I will do that again. It is very special.

you made no attempt to meet me dry.png

dont worry Naam, we arent in the right provience....sad.png

do we have to move to Nakhon Nowhere to get the respect we deserve? huh.png

You have gotten my respect already, regardless of where you live, Sir. Nevermind the prejudices some might have.

I advice you to re-evaluate your opinion. You haven't got the luxury to be so selective as you spoke out. I have plenty in common with 'older men'.

It's not a luxury, there's a good selection of people to meet here that will be on your wavelength, doesn't matter they aren't Thai Visa members. I did not sit in coffeshops or the village watering hole with old (old and happy of course) men in my home country, so there's no reason for me to start now.

Do you like fishing? lol

Looks like you've got TV in common at least.

Let me tell you something about Zen and The Art of Fishing. The fish know whose holding the rod.

Take a look at these two pictures of two old guys that you seem to not like. You try and guess what the photos are about.

I've met two. . .

Funfon and who else?

Funfon and big Johnny BKK were supposed to be Americans, boosta claims to be English. But the thought did cross my mind too.

And currently he claims to be not native English anymore with a very STRANGE grammar. wink.png

I suspect that any response I make relating to your post will be followed by a personal attack. You'll forgive me if I don't parttake right? There is already an older gentleman chasing my posts around and attacking me because I didn't like the food in his restaurant.

One is plenty laugh.png

Often enough when I meet a farang here in Thailand I ask them if they spend any time on ThaiVisa.com - Every time the response has been: What's that?

Dude, you need to look at the bigger picture.

Some of us are normal. We get great girls and live great lives.

But did it ever occur to you that some members of this forum might not be normal?

Did it ever occur to you that some members of this forum might be repulsively bloated social outcasts?

Did it ever occur to you that these repulsively bloated social outcasts are the ones who envy your normality and insult your women.

Did it ever occur to you that these repulsively bloated social outcasts are the ones who -- out of desperation to fit in -- discuss their (imaginary) wealth.

----------------------------------

Understanding is the key to it all. Pity them. They are worthless.

Imagine looking at yourself in the mirror and seeing something that completely disgusts you. You know who I'm talking about, don't you?

No.

Control freaks don't tend to take 6 months off a year and leave their businesses in the hands of others. rolleyes.gif

Come on, you'll need to do better than that........maybe you could call me a sex tourist again, how about that? Or maybe you can make up some more lies like four members pm'ing you to borrow money?

Humm ... the clues in the photo.

Obviously well decorated war veterans.

Assumption is that they are both from the Commonwealth.

I looked for VC recipients with the first name of Peter from the RAF (photoed with the plane in the background) ... none.

So, maybe 'pete' was a nickname ... or he wasn't in the RAF.

The only Peter who was awarded a VC was Peter_Scawen_Watkinson_Roberts

Am I within a football field of the answer?

Youngsters might learn something from the stories those guys could tell, if only they could be bothered to listen (but then, they wouldn't be here to listen if it weren't for those 'old guys' anyway)

(btw - Nice Spitfire in Polish colours)
