Bit like internet dating, lot of dogs out there ! Seriously though I wouldn't want my illusions shattered, I mean what if my image of Ms Whiplash turned out to look like my image of the blether and vice versa ? I'll pass biggrin.png

I've met 4 or 5. One I see a few times a year. A group in the farmers area have regular meetings.

I've met two. . .

I've met about a dozen, I'd be interested in meeting some of the high profile posters and those on my friends list.

guts! you have

public places

When there's some reason to meet up, then I've done so... I always expect to see a crowd of TV regulars at the rugby but no-one ever agrees to meet up...

"do people meet on here and then in person?"

I think only if you're Scottish and come here for...well,you know what for!

That's a slightly sad obsession that you have there.

Perhaps you should get another interest in life. You can catch a couple of Superleague games live on the internet, even if you don't have Eurosport.

Any similarities ?

TV is on big orgy, didn't you know?biggrin.png

Both empathetic and kind.

Otherwise wouldn't have agreed to meet with them. . .

omg somtam, don't put that image in my head please.

I have met a few. Pretty much all decent chaps. Several I knew before seeing them on Thaivisa and some I knew but didn't realize I knew. A couple of them I wish i had never met, like the guy that stuffed his dead gf into a wheelie bin.

i've met more than two dozen TV-members. all of them as guests in my house and it was always a pleasant experience.

sounds like some of you should be on the Grumpy Old Mens Thread.....clap2.gif

I have my own circle of friends ,i never say what my name is on T.V although my views on here past and present are the same as those in my real life. by the way i do know who some of the posters are ,but i never let on.

i think to be honest ive got some freinds on here, and they will no who they are without me having to mention names,

and they would allways be welcome to come and spend time at our small farm,

im not sure but i think there are some on here who try and make out they are something they arnt, false people,

im down to earth working man, i call a spade a spade, not to good at spelling or gramer, but im easy going and make freinds very easy,

you onlt get one chance to piss me off though, then thats it,

jake

I met more then a few people from here with who i share interest with and most people are quite nice. I also believe its easier and to comment here and people are harsher here then they are in real life also its hard to 100% explain how you think here as it would take a lot of typing.

But its good to find similar minded people.

I don't get that as there is no point in impressing virtual people. But I am sure you both are right that there are false people here.

Funfon and who else?

I have not asked to meet any one on here so therefore never met any on here. I suppose one could say my loss and there gain :0

Funfon and big Johnny BKK were supposed to be Americans, boosta claims to be English. But the thought did cross my mind too.

It is hard to avoid other members who live in Chiang Rai, so I have met several. Sometimes people will get in contact if they are planning on visiting Chiang Rai and it may lead to meeting up in town. If that goes well, then they may get an invite to our home.

Just this friday we had a regular poster from TV, and his wife, over to the house and out for a tour of our area. It is often nice to put a face to a name and in this case it was a real joy.smile.png I might mention that I enjoy meeting new people more than I like hanging out with the same people all the time. Just a quirk of mine.wink.png

This may sounds peculiar but on my last trip, I travelled around Thailand to meet up with several TV posters. Next time I will do that again. It is very special.
