Real budget accomodation/storage lockers near Silom Rd. in Bangkok

1) Where is the backpacker dorm (or its equal) near Silom? Does anyone know?

2) Also, where are the lockers? I'm not talking about the personal lockers hotels provide guests, rather I'm refering to storage lockers.

I have some belongings (backpack/clothes) and I'd like to keep them in storage while in Bangkok. Does anyone know where left luggage services are offered near Silom?

Note: I need a key and the freedom to be able to check up on my stuff during reasonable hours.

Dont know about silom rd but head down the Khao san rd and there are any amount. I use the rainbow guest house bottom of KDR and hang a left just on right. 10 bht a day and is open 24/7 so acess to bag is no problem. Hope this helps

The YMCA is on Sathorn, don't know if they offer storage but worth looking into.

Not far is, Bangkok Self Storage on Rama 4.

I think they have small lockers for backpackers.

there is one just off Silom road, if you get off BTS at sala deng and walk past CP tower and Bangkok bank then turn left at the junction with Narathiwat road it is just down there about 100 yards on your left. (close to the Rolex outlet)
