Can anyone advise how many days/weeks in advance I can apply for a new car or bike tax disc before the old one expires.

(I will be out of country for a few weeks while my present one expires).

Where abouts are you located maybe someone in your area may know.

Dunno about before, with only a few weeks over I have never had a problem getting them renewed after.

Do it when you get back as long as no one uses it.No Prob.

True, but thats at the Post Office, outside the Province Test and Registertion Offices they have folks selling cheap insurance cover to get the Tax Paper Thing.Foregot my Tuna Can for 3 Years and got no penalty. well my Wife did.
