Sandman77
I read on my flight ticket the weight limit to Europe Is 25 kg, Europe to thai only 20 kh, can someone confirm the diffrence?
wolfmuc
Same same, but different. Economy usually 23 kg, have a look at their website. But it's not so easy: Three elderly Thai ladies left BKK on May 18 with TG924 in economy class and their baggage was 27, 29 and 32 kg. Everything ok. They returned from Munich June 16, TG925 and had to unpack many things until they came down to 23 kg each of them. Good luck.

They didn't have a THAI Royal Orchid PLus or another Star Alliance membership, that's why. Otherwise they would have been entitled to another 10kg on top of the usual allowance, which is 20kg in economy class, not 23kg (that's only on flight sectors involving the Americas AND round-the-world tickets that have a stop in the Americas, even if the flight segment in question doesn't involve the Americas, for example like in this case Bangkok-Munich). The extra few kg in both directions is based on leniency and solely that.
John Egil
I fly with Norwegian from Oslo to BKK. One checked in bag (20 kg) is included but for 35 usd i can take one more (20 kg) So 40 kg together . Good deal i think. And it works both ways. The extra 10 kgs only applies to Silver-ROP and above, not entry-level members, who basically just get the right to accrue airmiles (and that's it !).
