BMW 5 series police cars

Not at all sure on all the police and there cars........... Very dark Red, mostly see on Highway patrols and pickups, then there are Silver lots of them, bright red again lots about, vivid Blue, again lots, and then White most are big cars Volvo XC90, Benz both 'E' and 'S' class, BMW, lots '3' '5' series have seen the 7 series and a number of X3 and X5 about..
 
Again some have the Police number only in Thai, but many have normal back on white........... not sure but have been told that the Royal Family have there own escort and there own colours...   again cannot remember but was something like the Police cars for the King were white, his Son, bright Red, Daughters Blue etc...

Is confusing as some of the Deep red Highway Patrol cars have normal numbers as well as the Thai numbers only........ I have see 2 BMW's X5 within a few mins of each other with different type plates but both the Deep dark red body.

Even some of the pickup have different numbers even on the brand new models

again some number appear to be white on a dark red plate..

2 local 'NEW' Isuzu D-Max both same colour and model one has Thai numbers on a dark red plate the other black on a white plate.. ?

Maybe I cannot remember ? but feel sure 10 years ago Police = dark red plate. Air force was dark blue plate and Army was a dirty green plate, but on the newer cars and pickups appears to have changed ??.
