Post office - what comes through and what gets stopped?

Featured Replies

Get your wife to email the name and address in Thai language to the sender.

Almost all parcels using English on the label have either been hit with duty or literally stolen in the system.

Everything labelled in Thai language, gets straight through for free.

I highly doubt this is true as the times that I went to collect a parcel at a main post-office/ customs (before they asses the value) 99% of the parcels were of Thai nationals not of farangs. I was the only foreigner, also the amount of foreigners is not enough to justify this they just tax everyone.

The secret is not in the name but in the shipper couriers like dhl and fed ex will grantee high duties.
