ABCer Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 Please, people in the know, explain to me Why costs of electronic gadgets are so high in Thailand? e.g. i-phone 5 (Apple) in Aus is $800 payable over 24 months AND including "Optus" Plan = unlimited talks to ANY number in Aus. After 2 years the hardware is yours and you can pick your own provider. i-phone 5 (Apple) in Thailand is around 24,000 Bt = $800 CASH. Nobody heard about the word 'Plan'. Am I missing something?
