These definitions are for how the term is used parochially or in casual English, BUT...they could apply here too.. For example, "A person who has committed a crime, or has been legally convicted of one." How do YOU know the person has committed a crime unless they've been convicted of it, or you've seen them commit the crime yourself? You don't. Are you taking the word of someone else who's accusing them? In most of the cases we talk about here, the people are called "criminals" so they can be arrested and deported. Also, in the legal use of the word, a person isn't a criminal even if you saw them commit the crime yourself. In our legal process, they are presumed to be innocent, and unless convicted, are not guilty of committing the crime you saw them commit. The point here is that to refer to all immigrants as "criminals" just so they can be detained and deported is a very "un-woke" thing to do, and one which I will not tolerate. -

What the US has to accept is that its organised criminal gangs, that include Americans, facilitating most of this. Crime Australian Man Detained for Carrying Grenade Rounds at Phuket Airport
When I was around 15 years old during my "Heavy Metal Phase" I flew back from boarding school in the UK, to Hong Kong, wearing a machine gun bullet belt around my waist, made up of USED bullet casings I'd collected at the Army firing ranges we sometimes went for shooting practice. Security personnel at Heathrow commented on the belt but after checking the bullets were all used they let me on my way. Security at Kai Tak said nothing when I strolled off the plane wearing it. However, security at Kai Tak went onto full alert when I tried to fly out of HK wearing it at the end of my school holidays. After a bit of checking they let me board the flight but the belt had to go in the hold and was handed back to me when I arrived in London. -

Politics Thai F-16 Jets Scramble to Intercept Myanmar Warplane Near Border
Several times over the past year or two Myanmar jets have flown into Thai airspace as they conducted combat actions against Myanmar rebels near the Thai border. In response Thai air force has belatedly responded after Thai border incursions. Finally, the Thai air force has begun monitoring flight vectors of Myanmar fighters into Thailand to proactively (and responsibly) intercept intended Mynanar incursion into Thai airspace. Thailand answer with two F-16s is the best response.
