Thai Shareholding in a Company

Featured Replies

I want to know if a Thai Company can be the shareholder instead of a Thai person of another thai company. Do rules changes if that Thai company has 39% of foreign share-holding?

Thanks

Certainly a Thai Company can be a Shareholder in another Company - no problem at all.

However a Company - Thai or otherwise - cannot be a Director of another Company; a Director must be an individual. A Company, being a Shareholder, can appoint an individual, with Power of Attorney, to represent them on the Board of course, if elected to the Board by an AGM or EGM.
