Went to look at this bike this morning, asked about insurance, all they offer is government insurance and tax, they seemed unaware of any other type of insurance, what is available for this bike and what would the cost be?

Hi Dogpoo

You are lucky as we have just sent out an up to date quote for a Forza 300 this morning. For 1st Class insurance the premium is 10,801 Bhat incl. all stamp/tax.

Please PM us with your email and we will tell what is needed to start the insurance.

A first class policy for the Forza 300 is only 7,000 baht (new) and 8,500 (second hand) through Tokio Marine. It is available at Sumet Cycle, if anyone is interested.

Probably a policy specifically made for this broker, and the people at the local offices, or even underwriting, would not know about that.

I'm sorry, but I simply don't understand why somebody claims he can not get the insurance when somebody else in the same thread says 'contact me if you want this'.
