THE masterminds behind the record-breaking £53million Securitas heist have fled to Thailand, police believe.

Detectives reckon they are holed up in the sleazy coastal resort of Pattaya - or on the popular holiday island of Koh Samui.

The areas are popular with fugitive crooks

Detectives from Kent may now fly to Thailand to investigate.

The Securitas depot in Tonbridge was raided on February 22.

So far, cops have recovered more than £20million and charged several people.

Uh sleazy or holiday resort? Me thinks whoever wrote this hasnt been to either place.

Sounds like the detectives from Kent are looking forward to a nice island holiday to me. :o
