semi-finished material for seals, tubes of polyurethane and PTFE.

As the density is relative high it is maybe arround 1 cubic meter and maybe 1000-1500 Euro.

As it is a very specialised raw material it is very unlikely that someone want to steal it, because it has no value without having the right production machines.

You could try DHL as they do a land service now from Singapore up to here and will have all paperwork taken care of similar to air.

Cheaper ways, but this probably will be a good place to start. Typically can negotiate about 30% discount on air couriers like DHL, UPS and so on with a few mislaid promises of future shipping....say you need to test out their system and it will probably get you at least some discount.

thanks, yes we have already a fedex minus 60 % contract, but thats still to expensive. I know there are cheaper services, I have also a list of forwarder, but I am afraid to just take one without knowing anything about them.

i think there is a minimum volume for shipping out of singapore, something like 3 cum. it'll take about 3-4 weeks and should cost about US$ 1200. it will also need to clear thai customs.

better way to do it is to try express courier like Fedex or DHL, faster and probably cheaper.

The point for DHL is they now have a land shipping service as well using the road network instead of air...this adds about 3 days extra onto the shipment and is only a few countries around Thailand (which is the hub of it) but is already 30-40% cheaper than by air.

So if you can get a discount on that, it could work...
