Overseas tourist insurance + kids with a legal overstay

Featured Replies

Hello!

Some insurance companies asks customers to have legal matters of being in country where accident happened. But that legal overstay rule for kids is not official. So - kids, who live in Thailand long can have probs with insurance?

Sorry am a little confused, are you saying you have children who have overstayed their Visa but they want to take out insurance ?

I told to friends about that unofficial rule about overstay for kids. So friends asks: If we will buy tourist insurance in our country, and child will be sick - how big chances, that insurance company will deny our request, because our kid lives in Thailand with overstay.

Insurance company will not deny because they are on an overstay, presuming the information given to the insurance company is correct regarding place of stay, length of stay, etc.
