Wong!
wonder how much the gladius will be. Not sure, but I read a terrible review of it the other day. Or should that be a read a good review saying the bike was terrible?
Wong!
I am surprised nobody got excited about Honda replacing the fireblade with a V4 If they make it here and it only costs about 400k then I'll sell the wife and get me one.

Overandout
2014 Yamaha color scheme for the R1 & R6 I think they should have gone more blue white like their MotoGP bikes Not nice... what were they thinking?
mania
Not nice... what were they thinking? Yeah I agree & too bad they didn't grab a little more from their MototGP bikes which look quite good Hard to tell but they also use a chrome wrap on the belly fairing & nose Looks good from different angle But the Blue & White with black frame looks pretty good

mania
I am always a bit confused now by Kawasaki using the "Ninja" name I guess what Ninja is now is more like sport touring bikes? The bikes most think of as Ninja's are now called ZX bikes? Yet even in 2012-2013 didn't they call the ZX10r a Ninja ZX10 Ah.....terminology eh? mania
(though I'm sure the 'massive' 510lb wet weight will scare away most forum members...) Only the ones that like RR type bikes. Which this is not. This is 70+ pounds heavier than the ZX10R Ninja This one is a sport touring bike suitable for the everyday commuter types Probably a fine bike Edited September 7, 2013 by mania

On a naked streetfighter? Not so good...
RubberSideDown
^ Oh, I agree- I just don't think 500lbs is a heavy bike, even for a 'streetfighter' (which is just a tough name for a fancy version of the 'standard' class, which has been around forever)- I owned one of the first factory production 'streetfighters' (in Thailand), and it weighed 560lbs and put out 135hp- it was no big deal to ride in any environment (though it wasn't easy to push it backwards uphill). In fact, I think something like the Z800 is in the sweet spot between commuting, touring, and sport-riding- the Ninja 1000 is there as well, but the Z800 will do it for half the price. andrewrooney
Found this on Facebook today regarding the new Suzuki bikes: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151955022486414&set=a.181262441413.152758.177246421413&type=1&theater There's some kind of Big Bike event happening at the Promenade Ram Intra. The picture says 13-25 October, but in the comments they state that the picture is incorrect and the event is taking place 13-25 September They say they will introduce 3 bikes at the event: the Hayabusa, the GSX-R1000, and a third bike to be announced. There will be special promotions for people making reservations at the event, although no further details are given. Any bets on what the third bike will be? Perhaps the Inazuma or the Gladius? it would seem weird to introduce the Van Van at a "Big Bike event," but who knows... --------- *edit* Checked the Promenade's webpage, found this: Looks like 13-25 September is in fact the correct date, and there will be other manufacturers there as well. Shurup
Bike's porn! Honda CBF 600 last year's model. I cried when I saw the price, it's a few bucks more than what I paid for a ninja 300 in Thailand. sup3r1or
I really love the look of R1 its a sick bike. Saw people on youtube going all the way to 160kph in 1st gear on R1. Ninja 1000 looks great, though Ninja 14r turns me off its way to big, and by big I mean fairings make bike looks fat. Same goes to Hayabusa GSX1300R
Shurup
Amazing shot, almost touching the knee. Now I better print it out and hang it on every wall in a house and in the toilet and on every mirror so my GF sees it and stops slowing down on every road bend when we go out riding together.
