New to Ciang Mai and when I arrived in April I was impressed with the speed of the wifi connection in this new block of flats, just West of the airport.

Sadly now with the rains it has slowed slowed.

I am wondering ...

Is this particular to this block (maybe more tenants moving in?) Or something else?

Are there any good "aircard" providers?

Is it worth running in a fixed line telephone into the flat and connection by line?

Received several reports on whcich providers are best, still looking for practical feedback

My AIS has been slow for two weeks now. Starting to disconnect occasionally.

In the past I have complained a lot about TOT nearly unusable after

say 5 when the kids get in from school, and on weekends,disconnecting

when it rained, I was seriously thinking of changing to 3BBB.

Then in last 2/3 weeks it has been working quite good,never disconnected

when we have had big rain storms, streaming movies etc,no problem,even

at night,I don't know what happened,but quite pleased with TOT at the moment.
