I think you're taking the role of the dime store psychotherapist, BUT if it was actually true that I "needed" something to complain about, if I hadn't experienced this WAVE of spice bias based on skin color at Indian restaurants, it would be about something ELSE, wouldn't it? Back to the actual gist of the topic, in case anyone is actually interested in that, if you disagree with me that this kind of spice bias based on skin color is at least a kind of racism (obviously a milder kind) then can you suggest an ALTERNATIVE way to describe this pattern of behavior?
