download app for your phone http://www.speedtest.net/mobile/

Set Mbps in settings, try it with different servers in settings

then share results, if u dont know how to do screenshot, just write speeds...

Hello, here are my results but it is not for a mobile phone. It is a laptop, using a 3G dongle with 3G Dtac sim in it.

Edit: I am in Pattaya Klang and it shows full strength signal, cheers.

not impressed :)

AIS 3G (2100)

speedtest.net, Bangkok server.

- Soi Siam Country Club (<200m from a mast)

- Ping 86ms

- Down 10108kbps

- Up 2620kbps

Max download I ever saw is 30024kbps

I'd love to post a screenshot but have no idea how to do it painlessly on an S4!

OK, now I found out how to do it....and now half the speed!

OK then, went to Vientiane server, still pretty OK (I didn't change to mbps as I can divide by 1000 in my head, even at my age)

Can depend on the modem being utilised.

It is a Huawei E173 dongle. Looking at what the AIS speeds are maybe he is better off with AIS. For me though the dtac 3G is fast enough.

DTAC is okay, I mean Trinet

as I want try 2100mhz

Those ping times seem awfully low.. looks like your results might be skewed from a cache server.

I use opensignal to force my phone to reconnect to the closest tower. It also will show you what provider you are connected to. In the case of those using AIS 2100, it is many times that your phone will roam over to the 52001 network when it should be using the 52003 network for 3G speeds. That widget I recommended is also very handy to see where you are connected to.
