August 13, 201313 yr I'm a non US citizen. I will be going there (USA) in December at which time my passport will be valid for a further 5 months. Does the US enforce the 6 month passport validity upon entering the country? Do the airlines check this and/or enforce this if it is so?
August 13, 201313 yr This link should answer your question: http://www.immihelp.com/visas/six-months-passport-validity-rule-visitors.html Visitors from some countries need to have a passport valid for another 6 months upon arrival, some don't. This should make it easy for you, if it is up to date.
August 14, 201313 yr I'd check with your airlines and see what they say. Hopefully via email. Print that out just in case you have problems at the airport. This is probably better off over in the visa forum. Topic moved.

Only needs to be current when I enter and leave.
