Hi there,

I just got notice from my school that MOE requires one month for any extensions of their visa! My check in date is the 20th so I don't have time now. ANy suggestions? :(

Believe you are talking about extension of stay as no paperwork is required for address check-in's. Suspect you will need to make a border run for 15 day visa exempt entry and when paperwork available for a new visa submit to a Consulate for a new 90 day ED visa entry. Seems your school should be advising you what is required if they do not have paperwork for you. Perhaps they have enough paperwork available to obtain a new visa now?

It's a year long visa along with the normal 90 day check in at immigration.

Ninety day reports do not require any paperwork from MOE.

Only extensions of stay requires MOE documents.

When I go to BKK to report at immigration I have a huge stack of papers. Copies of all my pages on my passport, two photos, and 1900 Baht.

If I do exit the country without the exception from immigration, will i lose the rest of my visa? It's only single entry.

Why is visa stuff so complicated? Why do they care so much and change stuff all the time to make it more difficult. ? To "weed" the bad seeds? People who want to be here legally typically are spending money here. I don't think there are many making loads of money here then sending it back to their country. It's making me feel not loved lol

I am a legitimate student and know more Thai than 99% of the farang here.

Be very careful about who you are speaking to or about ! (Many speak Thai and use good English !)

A single entry ED visa gets you 90 days! After 90 days you leave unless Immigration give you an extension !

Best be prepared for the immigration guys to speak with you in Thai !

Word of advise!

Drop the attitude !

You apparently have been getting 90 day extensions.

Your visa has already been used.

If you can not get an extension you need to get a new visa. Ask school if they can get paperwork for a new visa before the 20th.

It's not an attitude, it's a fact. Thanks for your advice though blink.png

Okay I thought it was for one year. Thanks for your help also. I shall do my best. I don't want to go to cambodia again. Waiting for my visa was very stressful and tedious. They wanted bribes to get them in a day or else they said 5 days. wai2.gifcheesy.gif

One flame removed.

You are on 90 day extensions of stay so if you can not qualify for another the best you could hope for would be 7 days extra with a disapproved extension and that does not appear to be enough. If you can not extend you will have to obtain a new ED visa to start the process again. PP is the worst location for time and it is normally at least 4 days for any visa issue there. Laos or Malaysia it would be issued next workday.
