Popular Post jbrain Posted August 15, 2013 Popular Post Posted August 15, 2013 The picture in the OP seems to be only a visualization of how the majority of Thai people goes through life, especially regarding the competence of their government. 28
Popular Post ginjag Posted August 15, 2013 Popular Post Posted August 15, 2013 How stupid can you get. Space the bleeding desks out, <deleted> 6
David48 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I don't know which is a better story ... this one ... or the other coconut story about ... woman-says-cow-is-her-reincarnated-husband ... Both stories could be true you know ... a photo never lies! . 2
arthurboy Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Guffaw + Facebook + Like + Line = Viral. Amazing Thailand...
Redhawk Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Glad to see we are back infant school, so everything works as it usually should, Prejudging everyone in a test is cheating! 1
Popular Post jpinx Posted August 15, 2013 Popular Post Posted August 15, 2013 Why bother taking the exams when everyone will pass anyway? If they want to stop cheating they only have to space the desks out and make the adjudicator walk around the classroom all the time with his eyes and ears open 8
Wavefloater Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 How stupid can you get. Space the bleeding desks out, <deleted> I'm not going to disagree on the absurdity of these things, but take a look at the typically overcrowded classroom in the picture and tell me how they're going to make more space between desks. Did you notice that the desks going along the wall are actually touching the wall? I think it's the overcrowding that makes cheating easy for Thai students (and classes inefficient). Besides, is this fair? The student's parents, grandparents, great grandparents, great great grandparents....and so on got through their schooling by cheating unchallenged, so why should the rules change now? 2
EyesWideOpen Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I thought loss of face was a punishable offence in Thailand. If so then those students should sue the school for making them look like complete and utter fools. Is cheating really that bad ?
ETatBKK Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 if this is the creativity from the university staff, and the submissive state of the students, then what could you expect ? 2
foxteen Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Looks like all nuns to me and pray to get better results

Easy -take the exam in a larger room, or assembly hall, or concert room or, ??? they assume that 100% will cheat ??? The Bu####it is for the photo's videos, newspapers to try to put out that they are doing something about whats a normal thing-as you say
Jasun Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 High Distinction for at least acknowledging there's a problem. 1
Popular Post canman Posted August 15, 2013 Popular Post Posted August 15, 2013 Best laugh I have had all day. At first glance I thought this must be a not the nation story but no it seems to be legit. You just can't make this kind of thing up. 3
gentman Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 the students can have full concentration with no distraction.
selftaopath Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Are these the students who can not afford to buy their good grades? Poor things... Ah maybe their saving up to buy that govt job.
harrry Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 The cover up of this cover up is more amusing to me than the anticheating cover up. At least the university found a way to stop people looking at their neighbours paper. My solution number the desk print randomly ordered papers. record which desk marked which paper and then process normally. Good to see them trying to do something about cheating though. That is something the University should be commended for. The cover up..well this is Thailand.
Bluespunk Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 This has to be one of coconuts satire stories.
Popular Post PoodMaiDai Posted August 15, 2013 Popular Post Posted August 15, 2013 The hub of cheating. 4
Jasun Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Where was this ingenious device when that up skirt peep was at it?
TackyToo Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 The picture in the OP seems to be only a visualization of how the majority of Thai people goes through life, especially regarding the competence of their government. Yeah, but as one can see in the picture now they are using hightech devices to do so... next step could be chastity belts connected to "line" to prevent teenage pregnancy via remote control. 1
brfsa2 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Why bother taking the exams when everyone will pass anyway? If they want to stop cheating they only have to space the desks out and make the adjudicator walk around the classroom all the time with his eyes and ears open Because exam adjudicators just sit on the their chairs in front of the room and check their facebook/instagram during the 2-3 hours exams.. at least it was like that on most exams at Assumption University. Besides that I saw cheating in most exams. 1
Markaew Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Whoever came up with this idea is probably patting themselves on the back but they are fools if they think copying is the only way students cheat. Copying is just the most obvious way. If they are caught cheating then what happens? Nothing. 1

Katipo Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I would be curious to find out how this affected the mean score of this years students compared to previous years. Wouldn't it be embaressing if significant number failed. 2
