Plastic dip for tools

Featured Replies

No, it's not what you are thinking.

There exists a product that comes in a can, some sort of vinyl polymer, that you can dip tool handles into (screwdrivers, pliers, etc.) that will give a cheaper tool that better grip, less rust characteristic without having to pay for the non-Chinese tool that costs five times as much. Anyone seen this product in or around CM?

Haven't seen it in Global or Home Pro, but maybe I didn't know where to look. Gee, imagine that - perhaps it was stocked with the water heaters.

I went looking for that stuff myself, and spent weeks searching around Chiang Mai. I wound up ordering it in over the Internet.

Maybe you can use the spray on stuff they're selling for cars?

I'm in BKK so I can't answer for Chiang Mai, but they have started carrying it here at every kiosk of stuff to make your car smell better and look like it's going faster. There's a plastic type and a Chinese rubber type. I have no clue the difference.
