You all know the "Thai's" NEVER, EVER do anything bad . . . however, when it's found that some of them actually ARE involved (and they can't blame the Malaysians or any other nationality) then they'll simply move them to another post.

Five civil servants are expected of being involved, including a Malaysian woman.

So, I was correct that the one where the visas were stolen is involved.

Making an educated guess that people working at the Embassy who had sole control of the visas were involved isn't really a stretch, though.

Nevertheless . . . well done, Sherlock! thumbsup.gif Have a 'like'

But, but, it was clearly reported previously that no Thais were involved.

If someone creates the myth of the 5th virtual hub for Thailand within one week, be sure it was a guy named Somchai.

All vicious activities are blamed on farrang if there is even the slightest chance to do so.

Looks like the Malaysian is going to be the fall guy,as a Thai

would never ever be involved in something like this !

Of course. It's never the Thai's fault. They just said a few days ago that there were no government officials involved. I suppose they are sticking to that lie.

2,000 Thai visa stickers missing in transit to Netherlands
By English News

BANGKOK, Aug 26 – A batch of 2,000 visa stickers destined for Thailand’s embassy at The Hague, the Netherlands, is missing and the Foreign Ministry has voided the entire lot, the deputy prime minister/foreign minister said today.

Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul said the ministry was investigating every step in the delivery of the stickers via diplomatic pouch.

He said a racket could have been involved in stealing the stickers but the preliminary investigation found no official government involvement.

Mr Surapong said he has told the Consular Affairs Department director general to find a new visa-issuing method to prevent fraud, adding that it might be necessary to attach an applicant’s photo with the visa.

Many stickers recently went missing from the Thai embassy in Malaysia, apparently as a racket. Several passport holders with the stolen visa stickers were arrested. (MCOT online news)

Simple, cut out all the Thai Government Officials involved. No need for any pictures, just punish those who are stealing.
