The Taser Gun Story....

I watched a part of a film a few days ago, it had already started so I missed the beginning. it was supposed to be in a underground car park that had been flooded. There were these people and they were perched on the top of some type of shelving and some on car roofs. There were two large sharks swimming around them, making escape dangerous. To make a long story short one guy produced a taser? and zapped a shark has it approached him. The shark appeared to go into convulsions when it was struck with the taser. I know in real life that if you receive a electric shock whilst in contact with water it is more severe. I were wondering would it have the same effect in thousands of gallons of water. Perhaps this should be tried on Myth busters.
