Popular Post jimbobs1
I am not an avid respondent on Thaivisa because some of the answers off the same people get on my tits It's an integral part of Thai living for me to observe ,,,but the same people who have a negative view of your circumstances believe they are the oracle We should meet up and show the positive parts to life ,,we are not all washed up alcoholics with 18 year old women We are not struggling to find a cheep alternative to our lonely love free ex lives I for one am buzzing I met a good wife 6 years ago who has give me 2 great kids and a wonderful life I could not achieve in the UK Some of the things some of these tossers say make me wanna strangle them,,ITS NOT YOUR HOUSE OR LAND,,,,,,no it's my wife's and kids,,,big deal,,,,IT'S NOT YOUR CAR ,,Ditto It's the same as at home with less restrictions ,,,the women get it all anyway So don't worry about other people's property and money .squirrel your own and moan about a 50 baht tip
historyprof
It would be boring. All of the positive posters live in Thailand and all the negative posters don't. So it would be a mutual admiration society. I think most of the negative posts are driven by envy because great fish and chips alone is still alone and not all the tea in China is going to get that plate to say Sa Wat De Ca!

I actually would have said the opposite. Thailand seems to eat up more farang hanger-ons than a farang hanger-on monster. When I lived in Thailand I found the biggest moaners, know-alls and bitter twisted people were those who were long time residents. They all had the same manifesto, Thai's are stupid, other farangs don't know how to run a business, the bureaucracy is a nightmare and barfines are too expensive. Imagine listening to that every night, one reason I'll never have another bar. After a few months I made some Thai friends and spent most of my time with them.
