The next time the BIB kidnap a tourist and hold them to ransom, they don't need to take them to a hotel, the mobile station is fully equipped to accommodate the victim in comfort while the ransom is being negotiated and of course being mobile these stations can be used country wide thereby increasing the revenues.....genius.....sheer genius

I do not know the other places but in Phuket I can tell you that people (especially business owners) start to be extremely weary of 'clown shows' claiming to fix problems here.

Who needs an ATM, so yesterday, as pointed out in the article the mobile police stations have full wifi and Internet access therefore online transfers will be used to transfer ransom payments thereby offering better security for the BIB in that they don't have to carry large quantities of cash in case they get mugged by a criminal or one of their fellow BIB officers...

Please understand we are in the age of hi tech extortion, the BIB are keeping up with the times...
