The Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, Murdered between 1.5 to 2 million of their own citizens in just four years,wiping out 25% of the country's entire population in the Killing Fields. Systemic Terror, Mass re education camps, political purges, and the total suppression of basic civil liberties under single party authoritarian rule. When a system abolishes private property, outlaws dissent, and enforces absolute subservience through state coercion, the result isn't "freedom from colonizers", it's mass starvation and state terror.
