What Does Miaow Mean?

Featured Replies

Somebody said miaow to me. It seems like a very easy word to remember, it must mean no, or something... what does it mean?

Are there any other very easy thai phrases to remember?

Miaow means you don't want. Mai means no and ow means want.

Barry

"Mai ow" is "don't want"

"maeo" is "cat"

"mouao" (bad transliteration here, but this is a hard one to transliterate) is "drunk"

So, either someone was basically saying "no thanks" or they could have been calling you a drunk. (since cat is probably unlikely :o )

Or..... they may have meant meao (cat) if you were saying something bitchy :o

I think mauw is easier for drunk SB !
