Public School For 1st Grader, Not A Citizen

Hello All,

I am thinking of bringing my son, who has a Filipino passport to Thailand. Would I have any trouble enrolling him in a THAI PUBLIC school ?? Anybody know the requirements or if he would be flat out ineligible. He'd be on a tourist visa.

I am not sure, but I am inclined to say no the Thai Public School. He would need to attend a private school and you may have to pay extra since some private schools receive government money. (ie government money can not be used to educate foreign children)
