Hi. Does anyone know if Jack Golf still run their service? I need to do a visa run this coming Sunday 29th and it's been so long since I had a tourist visa that I have no idea if any services are still running and from where. If I recall correctly JG didn't used to do a run on a Sunday so if not them does anyone have any sites, numbers etc of any company organizing runs these days. I need just a single day pop over/pop back visit and not a 3-day thing. Thanks in advance guys.

I don't believe it is still running. Do you know that the Thai immigration will only give you 15 days from a border run now and not 30? It's so easy to just do it by yourself. I've done it twice this month, once yesterday. Just go to the Mo Chit bus terminal. You have two choices there. Take the public bus or take a mini van. I suggest a min van as it's MUCH faster! The price is about the same (250 baht). It takes 4.5 to 5 hours one way. Then take a big tour bus back in the evening (200 baht). You can do the visa by yourself. ignore the touts and pay 800 baht for your Cambodian visa. Easy!

Hmm... Border (not visa) run practically useless for European/US longstayers. Better obtain normal tourist visa @ Laos. Or if you really need about one month of time here, then fly-back to Kuala. You will spend equal amount of money for one flight to Kuala compared to two border runs to Poipet, or maybe cheaper, if catch 3000 thb roundtrip ticket. At airport you will have 30 days stamp.
