it's funny...i'm a bit lost in this forum, i'm just new. I'm hoping to get a bit of help on info about working as an english teacher in thailand. i'm cristy and i'm from the philippines.I finished a four-year bachelor's degree. I majored in English language. I'dlike to try teaching in Bangkok. Can someone please reply to me? thanks

Yes, I can see how you could get lost as a newcomer. Most of the valuable info given here is quickly lost in and amongst petty nit-picking and 'I've been here longer than you / know more than you' type one-upmanship. That's Thailand's ESL teachers for you.

You'd be better off to talk individually with someone you know who's done it. Or just come here and start investigating.

No, you're pretty much right. so you're WRONG that I want to disagree!!! :D:o

If you look on about page 12-13 or so of the pinned thread in this subforum, Questions About Qualifications, there're links to most of the threads that I think have really good info in them. Have a look through some threads and when you're got some specific questions, fire away!
