TFI – Raising Money the “Fun Way” in Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A new non-profit organization in Pattaya is proving how raising money for charity can be lots of fun.

TFI is spearheaded by six Pattaya ex-pats who are well-known members of the Pattaya Community who plan to run a series of Charity Events in venues across Pattaya with the sole aim of creating fun events to raise money for nominated charities.

TFI’s first event was an 80’s Night which was held at the Access Inn on Pattaya Third Road. The event saw 150,049 Baht raised for Charity.

The TFI team then began to donate the money raised and began with a presentation of 20 water filters to families of students at the Chumchom School in Nongprue which was held in conjunction with the Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard who matched their donation with an additional 20 water filters. The team then went to visit a family with 3 children who desperately needed a new roof for their home. The team decided to replace the roof and offer additional assistance to this low-income family.

Agreed it will not get too many responses. I work with Father Ray Foundation and have also done a few unrelated charity musical events but most people ask "Why do you bother ?", they being cynical of any real good being done. Kudos to these guys.

Good for them but what are people supposed to say apart from well done? Nothing to do with racy content for me personally.
