New shocks for my ride (Honda CR-V 2002)

Featured Replies

Okay so I'm pretty much running on springs only, and decided maybe it's time to buy new struts... :-)

Checked around and getting quoted what i think are high prices in Chiang Mai (Around b7,000 for just a rear pair of Chinese 'aftermarket' shocks).

I found a set of "Stagg 4" gas struts (4, for front & rear) on E-bay for just US$160 - ~5,000 baht. But they're in the US and obviously shipping would be a headache re: both time and cost.

Tried in vain to search for Th suppliers. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

B-quik will have what you want. The shocks themselves aren't too expensive, but there are other rubber components that will probably need replacing too. I seem to remember paying about 15K to get my civic done. I don't recall the exact price. I think they were kayaba shocks. I don't think you will get much cheaper than those here, and you can go a lot more expensive, but usually not worth it on an older car.http://www.b-quik.com/en/index.php
