Uk Will

While I realise it does not answer your question (sorry) I would strongly suggest you get a good, known UK professional to do it. Simply because that way you KNOW it will be done correctly and legally. Using email, you can get all the drafts and approvals done and only the final version needs to be signed and on paper.

Get the preparer to email you an unsigned "final" Will, then you print 2 copies on good quality paper, sign it in the presence of witnesses and send it back to the preparer via Courier (keeping copies of course!). The preparer will advise you on who needs originals and genuine copies - that will depend on your personal circumstances. Oh and give serious thought as to whom to make Executor(s) - it's important.

I suggest it's worth the expense for such an important document. As I say, doesn't exactly answer your question but just my thought - hope it helps! smile.png

I have recently gone through this myself. A Thai Will was prepared for me in Thailand by a local (English) lawyer and my UK Will is being updated / rewritten by an 'affiliate' company in the UK. The documents are sent by email for checking purposes and the original will be sent by courier.

Very simple and cost efficient.

Don't comment on things you know nothing about. I have recently bought another property in the UK and need to amend my Will to leave the property to my son you cynical <deleted>.

This op is just about to put everything in his TG name!!!

Another love story that'll cause major issues!

Silly boy
